// about
I architect solutions and take them to production — not just write code.
I build backend systems and full-stack applications that are designed to survive real-world production, not just demos. My focus is Java, Kotlin, and Spring Boot on the backend, with React and Angular when a project needs full-stack coverage.
Over the years I've moved from front-end development into backend architecture — designing systems for scalability, security, and long-term maintainability, then seeing them through deployment and monitoring. I write code other developers can pick up without a walkthrough, which matters most when a project outlives the person who built it.
I also work AI-augmented: using coding assistants and LLM-based workflows to move faster on prototyping, testing, and code review, without lowering my bar for what “done” means.
I take on select freelance and contract projects alongside my full-time role. If you need someone who can architect a solution and take it to production — not just write code — let's talk.

SMARTIS
Full-stack developer, primarily Node.js — Express, Fastify, Sails, and framework-less services — with MongoDB and PostgreSQL from both the developer and the design / maintenance / monitoring side, and Git-based CI (GitLab CI) for deploys. Built SAP integrations, a Smart City platform, TANGO energy management, an alarming service, and a KPI manager. The SmartIScity project folds in here: a PostgreSQL database with DB↔ESB triggers, simple ESB apps, a Sequelize + Node.js backend, and an AngularJS web app.
